I scrap. Therefore I am.

I've started this blog in order to have a place to post my designs and share my work. I'm new to this blog stuff, so for now I'm going to keep it simple!

So for this week, I am participating in the "Color Room" challenge, it's palette #79.

Here's the palette:

I have to say, these colors together are not my favorite, and it was a struggle at first to get friendly with them!

Here's the most recent design, "Discovery"

Buddies Grandpa and Charlotte are exploring Grandma's garden together, and found some tropical fruit. I walked out there with my camera... they were busy in their own world, and didn't pay any attention to me.
It's a double-pager. If you click on it, you can get more details in a larger view.

Just two digital kits for this one:
Lorie Davison: Rough To The Touch, and Studio Miki: Catalina
This one is called "Serious"

Here's my non-nonsense baby at three months old.

Digital elements include:
Studio Flergs: urban princess; Studio Baers Garten: ten things; Websters Pages: Winter fairy tales, trims; Studio Miss Vivi: Fasteners; Clementine Design: Mama's little babies; Manuela Zimmermann: vintage baby; Michele Underwood: bright smiles; Natali Design: precious; Ztampf Accents: big wide bows; Katie Pertiet: Collagables No.4; Studio Miki: Reflections
This was my first attempt, "In Grandma's arms"

This color palette is a toughie for me. It reminds me of Grandma, so I had to do a Grandma page. I used the sketch for the first time.

Papers are Echo park, Background made with various gesso and textures. One flower from Kitchy Digitals, two paper embellies from Baers Garten Designs/blessings kit. My favorite bow from Michelle Underwood.
That's all for now!
